I'm a mom of a precocious daughter and a patient son who inspire me to be a better role model. This blog is a start to my promise to myself and my daughter try to nudge the world into a more equal place for women through my passion for writing.
I have a B.A. and an M.A. in English from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I've spent the past decade working as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of an amazing education company and editing a few children's books on the side.
